Building an innovative community
Corporate innovators are building an innovation community to actively engage, support and educate each other. We share best practices and ideate around key challenges in a vendor free and very collaborative environment. Since its inception in 2016, activities include:
Innovation organization review: members review their innovation organization’s evolution, org structure, positions, responsibilities, process, tools, methodologies, lessons learned and metrics.
Innovation organization challenge: innovation organizations brought particular challenges they had, like funding or getting an innovation into production, for group discussion and sharing best practices.
Technology: discussed emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain, to review their innovation approach and the challenges encountered.
Public sector challenge ideation: for the first half of 2018, we as a group decided to put our ideation skills to work for the state and ideated around a particular problem set in Health and Human Services.
…and we toured members’ Innovation Centers. If you fit our profile and are interested in joining, please reach out to me at marianfcook@gmail.com.
